PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AND MEDIA CONSENT

By registering my child for Camp Moonshot 2026 operated by Astrobotic Foundation d/b/a Moonshot Museum (“Moonshot Museum”), I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor participant and have full legal authority to execute this Agreement on their behalf. I understand that participation in Camp Moonshot is voluntary and that this Agreement is binding upon me and the minor participant.

I understand that Camp Moonshot includes hands-on science experiments, robotics and engineering projects, electrical circuits, prototyping activities, art-based programming, use of tools and materials, and general supervised movement within the museum facility. I acknowledge that participation in these activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts, burns, falls, equipment-related injuries, allergic reactions, or other unforeseen injuries. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, associated with my child’s participation in Camp Moonshot.

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Astrobotic Foundation d/b/a Moonshot Museum, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, affiliates, partners, and agents from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or relating to my child’s participation in Camp Moonshot 2026, including claims arising from the ordinary negligence of Moonshot Museum. This release does not apply to claims resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moonshot Museum from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from my child’s actions, misconduct, or failure to follow camp rules and staff instructions.

In the event of illness or injury and I cannot be reached, I authorize Moonshot Museum staff to obtain emergency medical treatment for my child. I understand that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred. I confirm that all relevant medical conditions, allergies, and health information have been fully disclosed during registration.

I acknowledge that no refunds will be issued in the event of dismissal for behavioral reasons.

I understand that my child may be filmed, recorded, or photographed during camp activities. I grant permission for Moonshot Museum to use my child’s name, image, likeness, and/or voice in any format for lawful purposes including advertising, marketing, research, public relations, publicity, packaging, and promotion without further consent or compensation. I waive any right to inspect or approve finished materials and waive any claim arising from the use or editing of such materials.

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and shall be interpreted broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT, AND I AGREE TO ITS TERMS.
Cancellation & Refund Policy

All Camp Moonshot programs are subject to minimum and maximum enrollment. Moonshot Museum reserves the right to cancel a camp session due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In the event a camp is canceled by Moonshot Museum, families will be notified as soon as possible and will receive a full refund of all fees paid.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration to secure a camper’s seat. Remaining balances for all Summer 2026 camps are due May 22, 2026. Because Moonshot Museum closes to the public during camp weeks and prepares staffing and materials in advance, payment deadlines are firm.

If written cancellation is received on or before May 22, 2026, families will receive a refund of any amount paid beyond the 50% non-refundable deposit. Deposits may be transferred to another Moonshot Museum camp, program, or workshop taking place in 2026 if written notice is received by May 22, 2026 and space is available. We will do our best to accommodate transfer requests, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after May 22, 2026. Refunds are not available for missed days, late arrivals, early departures, or partial attendance.

Moonshot Museum’s refund policy remains in effect regardless of whether Purchase Protection is selected. Purchase Protection is administered by a third party and any approved claims are handled directly by that provider.
Moonshot Museum is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and focused learning environment for all campers. Campers are expected to demonstrate appropriate behavior, follow staff instructions, treat peers and staff with respect, and care for museum property and equipment.

Moonshot Museum reserves the right to remove a camper from camp at any time if their behavior compromises the safety, well-being, or experience of others.

If ongoing or disruptive behavior occurs, one or more of the following steps may be taken:

• Camp staff will speak directly with the camper to address expectations and reinforce appropriate behavior.
• Camp staff will communicate concerns with the parent and/or legal guardian.
• A behavior improvement plan may be discussed with the family.
• Temporary suspension and/or dismissal from camp may occur if behavior does not improve.

Serious misconduct, including physical aggression, bullying, harassment, unsafe actions, or intentional damage to property, may result in immediate dismissal.

Moonshot Museum’s goal is to partner with families to support positive behavior and ensure a meaningful, high-quality experience for every camper.
